JEE Main 2018 Results were declared on April 30th 2018. Needless to say, it was a never seen before kind of result!
All the aspirants for JEE Main 2019 and JEE Main 2020 should watch out their study strategies.
During the last 7 years of my mentoring a number of students, I used to give them a target to achieve as 65% and a Mantra of DO NOT GO BELOW 50%! The Mantra of 50% is irrespective of the difficulty level of the question paper.
This year the paper was tricky, lengthy and so on and so forth. I am very happy for all those students who imbibed this Mantra of do not go below 50%. All these students were pleasantly surprised by the ranks that they have bagged.
In the tables below I am giving the Marks vs Rank data for the years 2018, 2017 and AIEEE 2012 in 2 different views. {The JEE Main ranks data for the years 2013 to 2016 cannot be used here for comparison as the method to determine the rank in those years was different.}
The first table shows the marks for a particular rank and the second table shows the ranks for a particular mark.
Best Wishes to all for the JEE Advanced and BITSAT exams 2018.
